a library of steel section sizes and data

Steel beams, angles, channels etc are rolled into pre-determined sizes described in various manuals and publications. steelsize.com is an interactive library of these shapes and sizes.

This site has the following features.

section profiles / sizes are displayed to exact scale
registered users (YES ITS FREE!) can switch ON or OFF the following information (using view controls):
- dimensions
- axes
- profile fill
- angles
rotate section
scale section up or down on screen
create material lists and download in PDF format
download steel section sizes in the following formats:
- DXF AutoCad drawing file
- PDF document file
- JPG image file
add / modify sections in the library, please see add/edit

Please note that the library is running steel sizes from BS 4-1:2005 only. until November 2010 (due to extensive testing)
